The founder of Svpply is right on. This energized me; I’ve been feeling a little bit like I’m swimming up the river lately. I particularly appreciate his advice to join a start up, not to necessarily become a founder straight away. Via Coop.

The fix for blurry guides in Photoshop →
Blurry guides are the bane of my existence as a designer. This fixes the problem in CS5; need to check out if it also works in CS4.
Update: You can turn off OpenGL Enchancements in CS4 to be rid of the anti-aliased guides; there is no option specific to guides, so you lose all enhancements. Since I do mostly simple 2D work, this is fine for me.

Here’s a list of the big guys:
TechCrunch
Mashable
Chicago Tribune
I’ll be writing a full blog post on how the graphic came to be, keep an eye out.

ridiculouspicturesofcelinedion:
hey y’all
céline dion found our blog, and she didn’t like it. we just got a letter from céline’s lawyers that the blog has to be shut down.
though this blog is well within the realm of ‘fair use’, i don’t have the money or time to get a lawyer to respond. the dream is over.
thanks...

From the site: Design, host and share your own custom maps. Not sure if this is worth anything to any of us infographic nerds, but it’s packaged beautifully. Will explore.
